A famous Indian classic text is called Speaking Of Siva, where it does a recap on Kannada, a Dravidian language of South India, and are lyrical expressions of love for the God of Siva.

HAving the context to understand Bollywood, is essential if one is to understand how religion influenced Bollywood because it was such an ever-present form of cultural worship, which embedded on the taboo, as well as moving to express a connectedness with all living things in moving terms. According to the PEnguin Classics version of Speaking of Siva, it is passionate, personal, and fiercely monotheistic!
