For those looking for a challenging and exciting book to read, try Ayn Rand’s The Fountainhead. Set in New York City around 1930, the book provides an accurate depiction of the drama, sex, scandals, and livelihoods of a bustling and developing New York through a series of male and female character. In this book, the main concept surrounds the field of Architecture, and the forms of buildings, as it questions the nature of humanity. It is hot and steamy with tons of action, and way ahead of its time. I got the Student Edition from the Ayn Rand Institute for competing in an Essay Contest, and besides Anthem, is one of the best books from Ayn Rand, as well as from any author.
